When do picks lock?

At first bell. The card shows how long is left, and you can change your picks as often as you like until then. After the lock, picks are fixed.

How does scoring work?

5 points for the right winner, 3 more for the method and 2 for the round, plus a 2-point bonus when all three are right: 12 for a perfect pick. Your main event call doubles the points on one main card fight. Against the grain adds 3 when you back a winner that under a quarter of players picked, once at least ten have picked the fight. Draws, no contests and cancelled fights are voided.

How do ranked bouts work?

Open Opponents and tap Enter ranked. From three days before the lock we pair you with a player near your rank, and you get an alert when your opponent is found. In the last six hours anyone can be paired, whatever their rank. The higher score on the card wins the bout and moves you up the rankings. If nobody was free to pair, your rank and record stay as they were.

How do I challenge a friend?

Open Opponents, tap Challenge a friend and search for their handle. Once they accept, it counts from the next card you both pick, and your record rolls on every card until one of you leaves.

I'm not getting alerts

On your iPhone, check Settings, then Notifications, then Cagepick, and make sure notifications are allowed. In the app, check Settings, then Notifications, for which alerts you have on.

Changing your handle or name

In the app, open Settings, then Edit profile.

Deleting your account

In the app, open Settings, then Delete account. It removes your account, picks and records for good. You can also email [email protected] and we will do it for you.

A result looks wrong

Results come from a sports data feed and scores update if a result is corrected. If something still looks wrong after the card, email us with the fight and we will check it.
